THE WEE WAA TRAGEDY

SYDNEY, November 19. A tragedy is reported from Wee Waa A woman named Wallace or Richards was found dead in her home with her throat cut. She had apparently been first stunned. There were signs of a fierce struggle. Her husband has been arrested. November 21. At the inquest on the Wee Waa tragedy on the 17th inst. the police gave evidence that the woman Wallace lived with Richards as his wife. When Richards was arrested blood was found on his clothes. He denied all knowledge of the murder. A neighbour gave evidence that he heard screaming and ran into the house. The children said “ Daddy is killing Mummy.” Richards said to witness “We have done for her.” The inquest was adjourned.
