SENTENCE OF DEATH

NEW YORK, November 15.

Spencer, who confessed to 29 murders, has been sentenced to death at Chicago on a charge of luring Mrs Hexroat to th® railroad track, where he shot her, and placed the body where the train would mutilate it.

The prisoner appealed to the jury to impose the eentence of death. Ha cursed his own counsel and the prosecution.
