DANGEROUS LETTERS

DELHI, November 13,

A letter addressed to the Bombay Pioneer exploded in the mail train, injuring the sorter. Similar explosions have occurred in several newspaper offices, but none of them did damage. While Colonel Muspratt, Inspector-gene-ral of Explosives, was examining a letter addressed to the Calcutta Englishman, !t exploded. His moustache and eyebrows were burned off and the skin of his face peeled off. The eyes narrowly escaped.
