ATTEMPTS AT SUICIDE.

GREYMOUTH, November 10. John Chunn attempted to cut his throat with a razor on the hillside this morning. He was taken to the hospital in a serious condition. A man named Alexander Stewart, living near Ranfurly, attempted to commit suicide by shooting himself with a pea-rifle. -The bullet passed through the man’s body but did not prove fatal. He was taken to the Naseby Hospital, and is now in a fair way towards recovery.
