SHOOTING.
The annual match between the Dunedin and Kaitangata Defence Rifle Clubs was fired at Kaitangata on Labour Day. The conditions were to have been seven shots at 200,. 500, and 600yds, but owing to the heavy gale preventing the larger targets being put up it was decided to fire 10 shots at 200yds and 300yds, 12 men aside, the two lowest counted out. The result was a win for the Dunedin Club by 43 points. Scores : Dunedin.
