Treatment: Give sulphate of magnesia lib, chloride of sodium Jib, pulverised ginger loz, treaclo lib, dissolved in a quart of hot water. When cold, administer. After 48 hours, give 4dr carbonate of ammonia in a pint of thin gruel, morning and evening, and a bottle of the best ale at midday.
