DURBAN, October 26. Eight Indians have been sentenced «t Newcastle to two months’ imprisonment in connection with the Indian miners’ strike against the £3 tax. BOMBAY, October 26. Mr Gokale is arranging to send £2OOO monthly for the relief of the Indian pas sive resieters in South Africa, hoping that the Imperial Government will ultimately, intervene to effect a compromise.
