The steamer Taluno, which trades from Auckland to the Cook Islands and Tahiti, recently landed at Aitutaki two motor cars which she had carried from Rarotonga. The natives of that island —a largo atoll of the Cook group —have already embarked upon .all the delights of “joy rides," and the taxis aro expected to establish a very profitable business.
