ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS.

Members of Court Enterprise, Ancient Order of celebrated on the 27th the 50th anniversary of their lodge, by means of a very successful banquet and social gathering jn the Masonic Hal!. The jubilee occurred on Monday, the court having been opened on October 27, 1853. P.C.R. Bro. W. Ibboteon occupied the chair, and there was an extremely large attendance, including representatives from practically all the sister lodges in Dunedin. A number of apologies and letters of congratulation, were acknowledged by the chairman. After an excellent repast had been disposed of various toasts wore honoured, interspersed with vocal and mAsital items.

A number of toasts were proposed and duly honoured, and a pleasant evening spent. At an Interval, the Chairman presented a handsome silver salver to Bro. J. Gillioe, jun., in recognition of his services to the court as secretary,.
