Dr Eleanor Baker, who was recently appointed to the medical staff of the Auckland Hospital, hae resigned her position for private reasons. Her letter of resignation was read at the last meeting of the board. Dr Baker testified to having received great courtesy from the staff of the hospital. The resignation was received with regret.
