THE MARCONI INQUIRY. LONDON, April 22. At the Marconi inquiry Mr Rose, the solicitor for the Poulsen Co. flatly denied Mr Godfrey Isaac’s suggestions that the Poulsen Co. engineered the Press campaign against the Marconi system and Ministers. Mr Rose denied every fact which Mr Godfrey Isaacs had produced regarding the Press campaign. He added that Major Archer -Slice had refused a financial interest in the Poulsen Co. He was merely told the facts regarding the Poulsen system. April 23. Before the Marconi Committee of Inquiry Major Archer-Shee, M.P., warmly denied Mr Godfrey Isaacs's insinuations, and produced his correspondence showing that he had declined to invest any money in the Poulsen syndicate. April 24. Before the Marconi Committee of Inquiry Mr Granville, formerly editor of the newspaper Eye Witness, stated, in his evidence, that he had been a mere figurehead. The actual motive that led to the paper’s Marconi articles was an attack on the Jews as Jews. Mr H. Belloc, the well-known writer, in giving evidence, said he had criticised the wireless contract in the Eye Witness as he considered that the Postmaster-Genera] had given an advantage to the AttorneyGeneral’s brother.(Mr G. Isaacs) with Mr Lloyd George’s connivance or permission.
