THE HON. MR ALLEN

DEPARTURE FROM LONDON

LONDON, April 19

The Hon. T. Mackenzie, Mr Cathcart Wason, M.P., and many New Zealanders said farewell to the Hon. J. Allen at Euston Station.

Mr Allen expressed himself as satisfied with his final interviews with Mr Churchill, and said he hoped the outcome would be to place New Zealand’s naval defence on a concrete basis even if the beginnings are small.
