RIGHT HON. MR BRYCE

SYDNEY, July 3

A civic welcome was given to Mr Bryce at the Town Hall to-day. This evening Lord Denman will give a dinner in his honour, and to-morrow he will be welcomed at the university. Subsequently the State Government will welcome Ivm at Parliament House. Mr Bryce will be Lord Denmans guest until Friday, alter which he will be the guest of the State Governor (Lord Chelmsford). There was a representative gathering at the reception to Air Bryce in the Town Hall. Referring to the great kindness shown to him in America, Mr Bryce said he took it as an expression of a feeling greater than ever before which united the people of the United States and the people of Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The reception accorded the American fleet here had left a permanent impression in the minds of the people of the United States. The cordial sentiments cherished towards the people of the United States were reciprocated.
