A STEAMER STRANDED

CREWS TRYING EXPERIENCE. BAY CITY (Oregon), May 6. The steamer Vosburg stranded at the entrance to the Nehalen River. Heavy seas broke over her through the entire night, and it was .impossible to rescue the crew. Combers swept the Vosburg, and there was a great hole in her bows. Finally, after hours of effort, the Government life-saving crew put off in a lifeboat and managed to rescue the crew, who were in the last stages of exhaustion.
