During a heavy storm at Hobart. the gable end of a terrace of houses was blown out, and the debria smashed through th* roof of a cottage on to two beds where a man end his wife and two children were sleeping. . The occupants were buried by bricks and mortar to a depth of sft, and how they escaped serious injury, jf not death, waa miraculous. Tho wife and one girl were badly cut about the face, and suffered severely from shock.
