May 8. The Gore Coursing Club concluded its meeting to-day in dull weather. Final: Whirlwind beat Kilrosa. PUPPY STAKE.—Third round: Meteor beat The Bower; Puritan beat Hiwiroa. Final: The owner withdrew Puritan owing to injuries received, and the stake was awarded to Meteor. SUPPLEMENTARY STAKE. First round: Scottish Mac beat Woollton: White Hopa beat Diamond King; Kelerin beat Surefoot. Second round: White Hope beat Scottish Mac; Kelerin, a bye. Final: Kelerin beat White Hope.
