NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, April 30. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, in a report to be presented at the general meetin? of the council of that body next Thursday, states that the sum of £lO was donated towards the expense of sending Mr G. N. Hill, of Auckland, to tiie Stockholm Games. Advice has been received from England that Mr Wilding will represent Australasia at Stockholm. The offer mado by the New Zealand Association of the sum of £l5O and 50 per cent. of the net proceeds over and above that amount as a guarantee for an extension to New Zealand' of the English team's tour has been submitted to Mr A. Wallis Myers by . the Australasian Association, and a reply from him is awaited. Negotiations between the Auckland 1 Association and the proposed Waikato Association are still proceeding. The association's committee is in communication with the Australasian Association on the subject of the separation of the Davis Cup Fund accounts from the Keneiial account of the association, by opening a separate bank account for Davis Cup funds, and the desirability of showing the operations on this account separately'in the anmuai accounts submitted to the members .of the association. The sum of £9O has been added to the amount invested in the savings Lank, making a sum of £l5O on deposit to the oredit of the associartion. The committee has set up a subcommittee to consider and 1 report upon the alterations made in the rules of the Lawn Tennis Association at the last annual meeting with a view to the adoption of the alterations by this association. It has been found desirable to insist upon tournament programmes submitted for the approval of this association -to in future contain a. condition to the effect that all events £ et out in the printed and circulated programmes for which there a.re entries must be played. The championships in 1912 will be played in Kawke's Bay. provided satisfactory arrangements- can be made. COVERED COURTS CHAMPIONSHIP. LONDON, April 28. At the Queen's Ciub covered court championship meeting Wilding beat Ritchie, 6—3, 6—4, B—6. He will play Gobert for the championship. April 29. In the final of the covered courts championship Gobert defeated Wilding, 5—6, 5—7,-6—4, 6—4, 6-4. April 30. In the doubles championship Wilding and Doust beat Pockley and Kidsbn, 7_5 ? 6—3, 6—2. They have still to meet the holders (Gobert and Ritchie). April 30. In the doubles championship at the covered courts meeting Wilding and Doust ' beat Gobert and Ritchie (the holders), 6—l, 6—4, 10—12, 4—6, 6—2. THE DAVIS CUP. SYDNEY, May 3.
