WOMEN’S EMPLOYMENT BUREAU. Dunedin. —During the montl/ 97 applications from employers requiring assistants have been received, and 25 from workers seeking employment, of whom 18 were placed; 2 were married and 16 single women. Two persons applied who had been previously assisted .and were given employment —namely, 1 housekeeper and 1 kitchenmaid. Employees for both clothinn' and boot factories are in urgent demand. Domestic workers are as keenly sought after as ever, and they are becoming, if possible, more difficult to obtain.
