The Federation of Labour will hold its annual conference at Wellington on May 22. About the same time the executive will meet the shipowners and cement exporters to discuss modified: regulations for the handling of cement, with the object of agreeing on a bag uniform pattern and material, which will bo acceptable to ell classes of workers.
