THE KING'S THEATRE.
The new programme submitted to patrons of the Theatre on Monday night was the means of crowding the house in every part. The character and variety of the pictures fully justified expectations. The dramatic iricidents setting forth the adventures of the "Fisher Maid of Ballydavid" pictonally gave a good representation of deep-sea fishing from the time of casting the nets to their being hauled in some time after. A very striking dramatic picture, cleverly worked out, is that portraying " The Surgeon's Heroism." " The Maid at the Helm" gave the title to a nautical drama that was redolent of the briny from beginning to end. A third dramatio representation called " A Man for all That" very strikingly illustrates how a ne'er-do-well may be rescued by having trust reposed in him, apparently if the appeal comee from a youthful and attractive specimen of the fair sex. The comic element found entertaining expression in an item called " Married Without Knowing It," "Tweedledum and His Better Half as Extortioners," and " Bobby as a Gay Old Sport." The scenes from Japan, and illustrations of the cork industry were picturesque and instructive.
