LONDON, March 27. The Financial Times states that the rise in Houlder Bros.' preference shares to 5£ per cent, is due to their probable amalgamation with the Furness, Withy Company, thus enabling Houlder Bros, to continue to carry on the frozen meat trade and to increase the number of ports of call.
