WASHINGTON, January 31. J Two additional battleships have been
i placed on the 1912 programme. The | Government has abandoned the Democratic caucus decision. This point was attacked by Secretary Dickenson, who declared that the United States required a larger navy in order to adequately deal with the problems that may arise from the opening of the Panama Canal.
