RAILWAY EXTENSION.

TEMPORARY STATION AT BEALEY. CFnou Our Owjt Cobbespondistjt.) GREYMOUTH, January 31. Mr T. Y. Seddon, M.P., is advised that every effort -will be made to open the Cass extension to a temporary station at Bealey in March, and to Bealey Flat -at the end of the Otira tunnel contract. Within six months the stage to Bealey would be across the riyer, on the opposite side from the hotel, and the stables and temporary terminus will be fixed there. It is unlikely that a daily service will be inaugurated fi'om there, but it would be possible when the terminus is at Bealey Flat, where greater facilities are possible for stabling and other necessary conveniences.
