The Wanganui Herald understands that a local doctor has performed no fewer than a dozen operations for this complaint during the last fortnight. The West Australian Trade Vigilance Committee, which represents all unions connected with the building trade in the metropolitan area, is considering the question of introducing a week’s work of 44 hours in place of 48 fixed by the Arbitration Court.
