SUPREME COURT SITTINGS.

PRISONERS SENTENCED

WELLINGTON, January 18. At the Supreme Court sittings to-day Arthur Thompson was sentenced to three years for a serious offence. An ex-Burn-ham boy, Richard Tarrant, for theft form the person, received a sentence of 12 months. Prisoner is at present undergoing another term of imprisonment. Bruno O’Moller pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary, and was sent to gaol for two years, in addition to being declared an habitual criminal. Albert Nielson was sentenced to nine months for theft, and William Hilditch and Isabella Harrington (who had pleaded guilty*to the theft of £l2O from a country visitor) to 12 months’ hard labour each.
