PORTUGUESE IN AFRICA
REVOLT IN ANGOLA. LISBON, January 12. The Seculo states that the tribes Ix Northern Angola have revolted and con/ trol the situation. Several Portuguese were burnt alive, and some had previously had tFieir lips cut off and their pyes gouged out. The natives also attacked a British merchant at Lunda and murdered his servants. The Portuguese are sending o punitiv* expedition.
