OTAGO HUNT CLUB.
A meeting of the executive of the above was held on the 12th, and was attended by Messrs J. A. Jordan (chairman), A. Slinger, J. Fee. James Thomson, Alex. Hastio, T. Leedham, A. Oudaille, and H. Divers. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs S. S. Myeirs and J. M. Muir. COBP.ESrONDENCE. H. V. Fulton, secretary of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society, wrote;--"I have pleasure in notifying you that tlie club's request for the temporary useof looseboxes and enclosure between same and cattle stalls has been grafted, subject to tlie pleasure of the Groun'ds Committee." —The mieioting expressed .great pleasure at the action of the society in granting the use of Tahuna Park as the venue of the kennels. Messrs Thomson and Slinger were- appointed to confer with Mr Fulton in connection with necessary alterations. A. !•>. Humphries, secretary Nortih Taranaki Hunt, wrote stating that it had been decided to send, at the beginning of the hunting season, one couple of hounds, and if fch© whole of the pack were returned to the kennels the club would prol>ably make it two couple.—To be thanked for donation. R. H. Nolan, secretary Egmont-Wamganui Hunt, in response to a lequest for the donation of hounds, stated that he had seen the hunts-man re sending one couple, but he regretted that they were unable a.t present to donate any, but later on, however, they hoped to be able to send one couplo of puppies N. H. James, secretary Waicarapa Hunt, Masterton, foi-warded particulars oonoerainir the cost of constructing kennels and upkeep of hounds. R M'Donald, Janeficld, Moegiel, wrote accepting the position of sub-local officer, and at the same time asked for 12 membership tickets to be forwarded, as he had 12 members desiring to be enrolled.

Secretary reported having l received subscriptions to the amount of £22, making a tot;il rn hand of £66. It was decided that, the first annual meeting bo held on February 3, and it was further resolved to advertise for applications for the- position of huntsman.
