GENERAL LABOURERS' UNION. CHRISTCHURCH, January 10. At a meeting of the General Labourers* Union it was reported that the ballot on the question of the union joining th« New Zealand Federation of Labour had resulted in the proposal being carried, the voting being—in favour 247, against 59.
