COURT ORDER FLOUTED

SENSATIONAL. SEQUEL. RIO DE JANEIRO, January 11. Owing to the State Government disobeying a Federal Court judgment, the fort of Sao Marcello bombarded and destroyed the Government building at Bahia. January 12. The State Government refused one of thes Federal Court’s orders of habea corpus in favour of certain Opposition deputies. The bombardment also destroyed two houses. A Federal ■warship has been sent to Bahia. January 14. The Federal troops shelled Bahia, killing 20 and wounding 100. They also destroyed the Governor’s Palace and other public buildings.
