A lad named Torn Winter, of Monzies Ferry, was the victim of a singular accident on Wednesday, while assisting with the shearing operations on the farm, says the Fanner. During the afternoon rain fell, and while Winter was shifting the sheep lo a dry place, ono of them broke away, and butted into the lad with such force as to break the big bone of <i»c of his logs below the knee.
