PROPOSED REVISION. WASHINGTON, January 5. The first matters dealt with in the tariff revisions will be the iron and steel schedules. • A sub committee of the Ways and Means Committee recommends free iron ore be admitted at a general reduction of from 20 percent, to 30 per cent., and that the duty be increased on all steel and iron products.
