SUPPLIES OF POTASH.
BERLIN, January 3. American buyers have signed new contracts with the potash mine-owners, the Americans thereby losing £5,000,000 as compared with the earlier contracts. An American congressional report suggests that the Pacific coast is capable of yielding a million tons of potassium of chloride yearly.
