The Federal Government proposes, at an early date, to engage the governor and the deputy governor of the Federal Bank. The salary of the former will likely be between, £2500 and £3OOO a year. The headquarters of the bank will for some time be in Melbourne. Mr Fisher agrees that a branch is ! necesary in London.
