DEATH OF MR FRANK LINCOLN.

MELBOURNE, January 2. Mr Frank Lincoln, the -well-known actor, has been seized with a stroke, and lies in a serious condition. N Mr Lincoln is dead. Mr Lincoln was one of the lightest and brightest juveniles in musical comedy in England. H© was engaged by Me ears Gf«lrke and Meynell as leading man in “ The Gay Gordons,” in which musical comedy he appeared in Dunedin three months ago On the disbanding of “ The Gay Gordons ” at Auckland Mr Lincoln was engaged by the amalgamated firm of J. O. Williamson and Clark© and Meynell to play juvenile lead in the now pantomime “ Sdnbad the Sailor,” produced for the first time in Australia in Melbourne 'bn December 23, and i» which he was appearing at the time he was seized with the stroke which ultimately caused his death.
