OTAGO ROWING ASSOCIATION.

CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA. ' A meeting of the Otago Rowing Association was held in Mr E. S. Wilson's Board Room on Monday night; present— Messrs F. W. Mitchell (in the chair), W. J. Wilson, J. E. Galbraith, S. G. Stydhe, E. V. Fairbairn, W. T. Bailey, M. Priest, T. Davidson W, J. Renwick, C. E. Statham P J. Priest, and J. Dowland. The Chairman reported that they had not so far had a meeting with the deputation from the Otago Centro with regard to a Marathon race, but they hoped to have a meeting at an early date. The following officials were appointed in connection with the championship regatta, to be held at Bake Waihola on Wednesday, February 7: —Umpire, Mr W. J. Wilson; starter, Mr J. G. Galbraith; judges—. Messrs F. D. Kesteven. R. Gilmour, F. W. Mitchell, and M. Priest; shed stewards (to act in conjunction with the club captain*)— Messrs W. T Brailey, E. V. Fairbairn, W Renwick. and R. V. Parker; press steward. Mr P J. Priest; timekeepers—Messrs W. 11, Young, T. Hogan, and G. Nelson. The Works Committee held a meeting at the close of the above meeting, when the details in connection with marking off the course, launching boats, etc., were gone into. OTAGO ROWING CLUB. The following crews will represent the Otago Rowing Club at the championship regatta: Champion Sculls. —J. M'Grath. Champion Pairs. —-Stevens and Paton.
