It seems almost superfluous to call the attention of flock-masters to this sale, which is certainly one of the meet important sheep sales ever held in New Zealand. Throughout the whole Dominion, and in Australia, the Elderslie Flocks arc well and widely known, and their show-yard reputation stands second to- none:—Shown at 61 shows in New Zealand and Australia. Sheep from the flocks have secured 83 champion medals, 5 champion ribbons Sydney Royal, 355 first, 283 second, and 137 third prizes. At the Melbourne Exhibition 5 gold medals for longwool and championship of the exhibition with Romney ewe wool. For nearly 40 years the flocks have been bred with the greatest care and judgment, and no expense has been spared to secure high-class sires from the Old Country.
