In the machine shearing championship for the world and a stake of £IOO (50 sheep), between Dan Cooper (New South Wales), claimant, and the world’s champion, Bill Day, of South Australia. Day finished hie sheep in 103 j minutes. Cooper finished awarded the championship on points.
