HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.

The excellent attraction presented by Brennan’s brilliant entertainers at His ; Majesty’s Theatre attracted a very large | audience on Saturday evening, when the : programme went with a briskness that was 1 commendable. Prince Charles, the wonderful orang-outang, vent through his marvel- ! lous acts, causing astonishment and mirth. Miss Eva Muclge delighted the audience 1 with her wonderful quick-change act, and left them mystijfied at her remarkable lightning changes. Jordan and Harvey kept the audience in one roar of laughter, and were I recalled many times. Johnson and Weile : took the houso by storm with their clever i harmonising and eccentric dancing, while 1 their comedy kept the audience in a high state of glee. Archie Glen was another one who caused the heartiest laughter, his songs and patter being extremely funny and wholesome. Neile Kollo endeared herself to the large audience by her wonderful singing of her dramatic songs, while her performance ‘at the piano was most entertaining. Mr i Howard was another who made a favour- • able impression with his splendid voice. The whole entertainment was full of melody ' and mirth, every act -bong presented so i that ret a dull moment was allowed to ! obtrude itself. On Monday afternoon a | special matinee performance was given, i This was well attended, and the | audience gave every indication of being thoroughly pleased with the amusements provided. In the evening , the house was again well filled, the various 1 artists completely captivating the audience. The last four nights of the Dunedin season are now announced.
