RACING IN NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, December 24. The Yiiliers Stakes resulted as follows: Myrabluain 1, Otah 2, Crown Derby 3. Seventeen horses started. Won by a length and a-half. Time, Imin 38|scc. Wild West finished in the ruck. Bridge ran unplaced in the Grand Stand Stakes. December 26The weather was fine and hot to-day. The December Stakes resulted as follows : Golden Gauntlet 1, Florentina 2, Salarino 3. Seven horses started. A good finish. Won by a neck. Time, Imin 3soc. The Summer Cup was won by Baw Bee, with Olivo Green second and Saxonite third. There were 13 starters, including Bridge. Won easily by eight lengths. Time. 2min 4 sec. December 31. The following is the result of the Carrington Stakes: —Melotpi 1, Sylvander 2, Winsome 3. There were 29 starters. Won by a length and a-quarter. Time, Imin 15jj.sec. Pride of Murillo quickly went to the front, and led into the straight, where Sylvander took the lead. Melotoi then appeared out of the ruck and won comfortab'y, a neck separating the second and third horses. January 1. The Tattersall’s Club Cup resulted aa follows:—Son of the Marsh 1, Olive Green 2. Bawbee 3. Twelve horses started, including Chaste. Sandbath led out, followed by Electric Wire, Son of the Marsh, and Chaste. At the mile poet the order was the same, but Sandbath was a clear length in front. The lead was increased to two lengths along the back, but rounding the bend Son of the Marsh bounded ahead. Sandbath, Crown Derby, and Chaste following in that order. Entering the straight Son of the Marsh loti Olive Green and Bawbee. Son of the Marsh was tiring badly, but he won by three lengths, with a head between second and third. Chusto was fifth. Time, 2min 33isec. THE HOPETOUN CUP. MEL BOURNE, December 26. The Hopetoun Cup resulted as follows: Gunboat 1, Prince Harold 2. Lord Kelvin 3. Twelve started. Won by four lengths. Prince Harold beating Kelvin by a head for second place. Time. 4min 51iscc. THE BAGOT HANDICAP. MELBOURNE, January 1. The Bagot Handicap was won by Orvieto, with Prince Harold second and Simond’s Fortune third There were eight starters. Prince Harold made the pace, but in the straight Orvieto came.with a great finish, and won bv a nock, with three lengths between second and third. Time, 2min 39ecc. RACING IN WEST AUSTRALIA. PERTH, December 24. The West Australian Derby resulted a« follows; —Ayrville 1, Florabel 2. Mousine 3. Ten horses starter. Won by a nose. Time, 2m in 40iscc. The Karrawatta Plate was won by Miss Bob, with Flagstaff second and Cosy third. Seven horses started. Won by four lengths. Time, Imin 4 4-ssec. December 25. The Perth Stakes resulted as follows:—• Artesan 1, Apple Charlotte 2, Sands of Orient 3. There were 13 starters. Won by two lengths. Time, 2min 10 2-ssec, December 27.
