SERIOUS ACCIDENTS
VANCOUVER, December 26. At Toronto a tramcar left the rails at a etreet corner and upset. It was crowded with churchgoers. One woman was killed and several persona were injured. A number of passengers fell through the window and were pinned underneath the car. The motorman has been arrested pending investigation. At Pottsville, Pennsylvania, a trollycar containing 35 passengers leaped over a bridge near the city, and fell a distance of 20ft into the river, which was only 6ft deep at the spot. Many pea-sons were injured.
