LOCATING ICEBERGS
AN IMPORTANT INVENTION. MONTREAL, December 22. Professor Barnes, of M'Gill University, has invented an instrument which he claims will reveal the presence of icebergs close to the.-land to those engaged in navigating vessels'at sea, and by means of which the risk of collision will be avoided.
