RISE IN PRICE
WELLINGTON, December 20
Private cablegrams received to-day, with reference to the tea sale held in Colombo and Calcutta yesterday show that there was a rise in the Colombo market of per pound on prices for all broken teas, pekoes, and l orange pekoes. There was a similar advance in the Calcutta prices for all the better grades of tea, but other grades showed no change from last sale grices..
