FULLEI'S PICTURES.

The matinee and evening presentation of pictures at the Princess Theatre on Saturday were both well attended, the programme being screened for the last time. None of the numbers seemed to have lost in popularity, and the audiences at all times were attentive and keenly appreciative. Yesterday Messrs Fullers put on a special Christmas programme, giving two performances. At the matinee in the afternoon, and again in the evening, the theatre was packed in every part, and many had to be turned away. The programme, which was received with every manifestation of approval, included a number of most interesting and instructive items. A classic drama “ Agrippina,” vshowing Emperor Nero in one of his most vengeful lights, depicted powerful acting, and throughout was replete with events of stirring interest. The championship skijumping competition in Norway ..was deservedly well received, and “ Smile of a Child ” again proved a favourite. The Park at Caserta” was a fin© scenic film, as was also another entitled “ The Golden Shell,” descriptive of the vicinity of Palermo. There was no lack of interest throughout, and the largo audiences appeared to be well satisfied with their Christmas fare. An entirely new programme will be submitted to-day, when there w v ill be a matinee in the afternoon, and the programme will bo repeated at night. The films will include the great SeTig masterpiece “The Old Captain,” “ Won by Wireless,” a drama of great power and original in conception and presentation. On the educational side an in structiv© series is promised in “ The Making of a Book,” and a travel series, “ Amongst the Murats.” A western dramatic scene, “The Cow-puncher,” should be highly entertaining. The eomic side is well catered for, including “ Mrs Teck goes Calling,” “ A Good Watch Dog,” and “ Bill and the Bear.”
