UNCLAIMED MONEY.
AUSTRALIAN HEIRS WANTED. TO CLAIM MONEY AND PROPERTY DURING 1911. TO THE EDITOB. Sih, —The public at large have no conception of the great number of people in Australia and New Zealand entitled to moneys and property, of which they have no knowledge. Many of these emigrated to Australia in the early days, and lost touch with their relatives at Home, or who may have emigrated to other parts of the world, and who subsequently died, leaving money and property unclaimed. The largo number of advertisements which appear annually [ in Australian, . New' Zealand, and British a.nd American newspapers asking for information in regard to missing people, supposed to be resident in Australia or New Zealand, who will hear of something to their advantage on communicating with a given address named, often have reference to large sums awaiting the lawful owners, and are mainly inserted by trustees, executors, solicitors, and pursuant to orders of the Court of Chancery. It has occurred to me that a summary of the most important of these which have appeared during the current year may be of benefit, and of more than passing interest, to your readers.
