FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

LONDON, October 18. Sir George Reid has left for Paris, where he will interview the Minister of Agricul&ure concerning the admission of meat. The Echo de Paris says that Parliament will shortly be asked to discuss a bill for a large reduction in the import duties on meat. PARIS, October 19. All the Paris members of the Chamber of Deputies have petitioned for a reduc tion in the Customs tariff on cattle and ■meat to the basis of the 1892 tariff.
