TOKOMAIRIRO FARMERS' CLUB
HONOURING LIFE MEMBERS. Members of the Tokomairiro Farmers' Club, to the number of about 20, in social form assembled at the County Chambers early on .the evening of the 17th mst. to do honour to the club's life members, and present each gentleman with a lithographed certificate as a Flight recognition of the club's appreciation of their loyal efforts in the past, which had materially helped in placing the club en the sound financial basis it now occupies. The club's life members row total 26, fts follows:—Messrs J. Farquhareon, W. Aitcheoon, D. Tweodio, A. Fr&scr, A. M'Gallum, Jas. Driniian, Jas. A.lUaon, M. Henderson, Thos, Cannon, Thos. Falconer, J. L. Newbigging, R. Ferguson, G. T. Mai tin, H. M. Driver, John Pringle, J. Donaghuc, J. Lockhart, W. Taylor, Jno. Sutherland, J. A. Duthie, Jno. Allison, F. Baitings, D. Thomson, Jas. Armstrong, A. Wisely. Of the above, nine wore present, and greetings or apologies were received from nine others. The chair was occupied by Mr J. W. Petrio, vice-president. A number of toasts were proposed and duly
honoured, and with songs and recitations a pleasant evening was spent.
