Workers' return tickets on the Wellington municipal tramways were issued during the past six months to the number of 161,007 2d, 34,633 3d, and 5590 4d. A rough estimate shows that the conocssksi X of allowing a single far© to buy a return ticket amounts to about £4OOO a year. Under the old workers' car system the concession amounted to under £2OOO a year.
