FLEMINGTON TRAINING NOTES
MELBOURNE, October 23. At Flemington this morning Jacamar and Piastre covered five furlongs in Imin 7sec, Comedy King four furlongs in 52£fiec, Ladies' Man and Woad four furlongs in. 54sec, Crown Grant four furlongs in 52J,sec, Prince Foot© and Duke Foote four furlongs in 55sec, and Diabolo six furlongs in lmin 2lssec. Bobrikoff pulled up lame after working at Trentham, and be is regarded as an unlikely starter in the Champion Plate. The Finland gelding went amiss in a leg previously supposed to bo sound, and his trainer fears that the case is serious.
