Speaking at the ~ Church Congress at Stoke-on-Trent, Sir Frank LasceHe3, formerly Ambassador to Germany, deplored the existing bitterness between Great Britain and Germany. With a public opinion of this temper it was really serious, and the diiference might create a dangerous, situation. There was no ground for a quarrel, and no question that was not susceptible of negotiation or that would justify war.
