BROOKS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. AUCKLAND, October 6. John Brooks, a cabman, has been committed for trial on the charges of endeavouring to persuade two witnesses for the prosecution in the Kingsland murder case to give false evidence. He was allowed bail in two sureties of £IOO each.
